During your initial visit, our providers will take your medical history and conduct a comprehensive physical examination and evaluation of your problem and symptoms.Your injury or condition will be completely assessed for range-of-motion, pain, swelling, abnormality, instability, and strength. We want to know the severity of your pain and injury, as well as how it interferes with your participation in sports, daily activities, and work.
Your provider will review any previous imaging or tests you had, discuss your injury or problem, make a diagnosis, review options, and recommend treatment.
If additional diagnostic imaging — such as X-rays or an MRI — is needed to help make a diagnosis, these studies will be performed at a time and location convenient for you. X-ray services are available onsite, and MRI studies are performed at East Ann Arbor, Brighton Center for Specialty Care, & Northville Health Centers, as well as the C.S. Mott Children’s and University Hospitals.
