The University of Michigan Health outpatient infusion units offer adult and pediatric oncology and non-oncology IV therapies.
The Michigan Medicine outpatient infusion units offer adult and pediatric oncology and non-oncology IV therapies. Our various locations can treat many conditions that require the administration of medications, fluids and/or blood products directly through IV methods.

Core Infusion Services
The core infusion services we offer include:
- Medication Administration: Delivering a wide range of medications such as antibiotics, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and biologic drugs.
- Hydration Therapy: Providing fluids and electrolytes to patients who are dehydrated or unable to take fluids orally.
- Blood Product Transfusions: Administering red blood cells, platelets, plasma products, or other blood components as needed.
- Monitoring and Management: Continuous monitoring or observing patients for potential side effects or adverse reactions during and after infusion treatments.
