Bronchiectasis & NTM Clinics
The Bronchiectasis Clinic at U-M Health provides comprehensive care for our patients who have developed bronchiectasis for any reason. We provide a standardized and thorough evaluation and treatment plan.
Our Approach
Patients will have access to a multidisciplinary team that includes pulmonary and infectious disease physicians, respiratory and physical therapists, a clinical pharmacist, social workers, and bronchiectasis-trained nursing staff. Advanced therapeutic options are also available, including evaluation for lung transplantation and participation in clinical trials for eligible patients. Our clinic is equipped to provide individualized care for patients across the disease spectrum- from those newly diagnosed to those managing longstanding disease.
NTM Clinic
The Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic caring for patients with NTM. NTM is a common comorbid condition seen in our bronchiectasis patients. We are committed to providing pulmonary and infectious disease expertise to comprehensively treat NTM to improve the health and quality of life in our patients.
The University of Michigan Bronchiectasis and NTM Clinics have been designated by the COPD Foundation as a Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center. Learn more about the Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center Network.
