Cardiac Radiology
Cardiac Radiology
Our thoracic imaging team provides advanced chest imaging to diagnose and guide treatment for lung and cardiovascular conditions with precision and care.
Our Approach
We interpret more than 90,000 chest X-rays and 8,000 CT scans each year, giving our team deep expertise in identifying complex chest and lung conditions. Every study is reviewed by board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists specializing in thoracic imaging. We use advanced protocols to ensure the lowest possible radiation dose without sacrificing image quality and are proud to participate in the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Consortium, a statewide initiative focused on safer, more effective heart CT angiography.
Our department is fully digital, allowing for faster image sharing, efficient workflows, and quicker turnaround of reports to referring physicians. We work closely with the Cardiovascular Center and other multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless care for patients. Our faculty continually evaluate and introduce innovative imaging applications, including high-resolution CT for diffuse lung disease and specialized studies for infection and cancer.
