Sun Spots, Age Spots, Pigmented Birthmarks
Certain pigmented lesions - often called sun spots, age spots or liver spots - often appear on our skin as we age, sometimes as a result of repeated sun exposure. These changes in skin pigmentation show up as brown spots or blotches, and can make our skin appear prematurely old.
Appointment Information
Treatment for sun spots and other conditions is offered by two expert clinical teams:
What is the treatment for sun spots, age spots, & pigmented birthmarks?
Many of these visible signs of sun damage and aging may be improved with laser therapy. The results can make the skin appear much healthier and more youthful.
Pigmented birthmarks, such as café au lait macules or Nevus of Ota also respond well to laser therapy. A series of laser treatments will typically greatly improve or even completely eliminate these light brown or gray birthmarks.
