    • Whether due to acne, an injury, surgery or other causes, scars are often very distressing for patients. Acne scarring is very common and a frequent cosmetic concern that brings patients to University of Michigan Health.

    Every scar is different and often a combination of treatment approaches is necessary to maximize improvements. From laser resurfacing to chemical peels to filler injections to specialized techniques like subcision and TCA CROSS peels, the team at U-M Health are highly experienced in treating all types of scars and will carefully evaluate your skin to determine which procedures will help improve the appearance of your scars.
