    Research Overview

    Dr. Khouri is originally from Macomb, MI. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Detroit Mercy where she played Division 1 soccer. She then attended medical school at the University of Michigan Medical School where she met her husband who is also a physician. She continued her training at University of Michigan for her pediatrics residency and a primary care sports medicine fellowship. Her clinical interests include primary care pediatric and adolescent medicine, pediatric sports medicine, athletic medicine, musculoskeletal injuries, and relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S). She also currently works as a team physician for the University of Michigan field hockey team. Outside of medicine she enjoys staying active, hiking, and spending time with her husband, family, and golden retriever dog named Argo.
