About
Dr. Rishi Bakshi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan. After completing his undergraduate degree at Monclair State University in New Jersey and receiving his Master’s degree at Rutgers, he pursued a medical degree at Des Moines University in Iowa. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as chief resident in 2008 and followed graduation with a Pain Management fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology in 2009; both at Michigan Medicine. His clinical interests include interventional spine and musculoskeletal treatments.
Dr. Bakshi has also served as the Medical Director of Clinical Documentation and Improvement since 2013, working on projects related to documentation quality, risk adjustment and health system revenue.
