Dr. Sangji received her B.A. in Molecular Biology at Pomona College and her MD cum laude from Harvard Medical School in the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. She also obtained an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Sangji completed general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she also completed fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Acute and Reconstructive Burns Surgery.
Dr. Sangji has a strong interest in healthcare policy. She serves on the American College of Surgeons delegation to the American Medical Association House of Delegates, and the executive committee of the Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons (RAS-ACS).

Dr. Sangji specializes in the treatment of trauma, emergency general surgery, and burn patients. She also provides surgical critical care.
