About
Dr. Sunnye Mayes completed her graduate training program in clinical child psychology at the University of Kansas. Her training included an internship in pediatric psychology at the Munroe-Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a site of the Nebraska Consortium in Professional Psychology. She completed her fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, receiving pediatric psychology training in pediatric hematology/oncology, integrated primary care, and inpatient consultation and liaison. She is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Mayes is a Professor of Pediatrics within the Division of Pediatric Psychology. She is an attending psychologist within the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology service, providing integrated pediatric psychology services to the families of children, adolescents, and young adults receiving oncology treatment and follow-up care.
