Annemarie Lucas, MHSA, FACHE is administrator of University of Michigan Health Transplant Center, the largest and oldest multi-organ transplant center in Michigan uniquely serving adult and pediatric patients. She holds a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and earned Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 2024. As a certified executive coach, Annemarie is dedicated to fostering high-performing teams to drive excellence in patient care and research.

Passionate about the life-changing impact of organ donation, Annemarie believes in the power of second chances, as each transplant transforms lives and restores hope for patients and families. She is a committed advocate for transplant care, serving on the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network’s Operations and Safety Committee and chairing its Donor Testing Workgroup. Annemarie strives to reduce barriers to care, enhance patient and provider experiences, and deliver world-class transplant treatments to Michigan and the world.

Prior to her role as administrator for U-M Health Transplant Center, Annemarie gained extensive leadership experience across Michigan Medicine in the medical school, psychiatry, ambulatory care, and hospital operations.
