About
Dr. Nimesh Patel completed his undergraduate education and medical school at the University of Michigan. He then went on to complete his general surgery residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He remained at Wake Forest to complete his fellowship in vascular surgery. After completing training, he moved back home and worked at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow in Lansing for two years prior to joining the vascular surgery faculty at University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Patel is trained to provide the full spectrum of vascular surgery which also includes carotid endarterectomy (CEA) and transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), aortic and mesenteric bypass, and hemodialysis access. He is a Registered Physician in Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation.Areas of Practice
