Katherine Ann Magerko, MD

Dr. Magerko completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She went on to complete her MD/PhD at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Her doctoral degree was in Human Development and Family Studies. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Indiana University through Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Magerko’s research concentrates on supporting the health of children outside of the clinic, specifically in child care settings. Clinically, she enjoys newborn care, child development, preventive care and childhood anxiety and depression. Dr. Magerko enjoys partnering with children and families on their child’s health. In her time outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and skiing, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
