About
Dr. Noah Saad is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Saad received his Bachelor of Science from Boston University, and his M.D. from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Maryland, and Plastic Surgery residency at UT San Antonio. He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship in Microsurgery at the University of Michigan.
Clinical Specialization:Dr. Saad specializes in all types of breast reconstruction, with specific interest in microsurgical reconstruction, using the patient’s own tissues such as the DIEP flap, SIEA flap, or PAP flap. Additionally, he has interest in limb salvage after trauma. Other areas of clinical interest include body contouring, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, and mastopexy.

Research Overview
Dr. Saad is interested in resident education and how this relates to patient outcomes and experiences. He is currently refining the microsurgery curriculum to better prepare residents prior to entering the operating room. Additionally, he is interested in the peri-operative care of patients, and streamlining postoperative care, allowing patients to return home sooner after surgery.
