About
Dr. Angela Verkade completed her undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Michigan. She then went on to complete ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where she served her last year as chief resident. Dr. Verkade completed her cornea fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL.
After completing her training, she practiced for 1 year at Duke Eye Center in Winston-Salem, NC before returning to join the cornea faculty at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. Dr. Verkade diagnoses and treats a wide variety of eye disorders including cataract, cornea, and ocular surface diseases.Areas of Practice
