Research Overview
Dr. Zychowski (Haug) has a background in qualitative research as well as outcomes and health services research. Her most recent research focuses on improving communication between patients and their surgeons so that patients can avoid unwanted treatment and make decisions that align with their values and goals. She completed a fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago's MacLean Center.
