    Dr. Xia is interested in improving of non-invasive diagnostic modalities of gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. His main research interest is in the development of microbiome and metabolomics based biomarkers to enhance endoscopic diagnosis of indeterminate biliary strictures and facilitate early diagnosis of pancreaticobiliary cancers.
