David M. Walton, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan specializing in disorders of the Foot and Ankle. Raised in Michigan, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. He was awarded medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
He specializes in the treatment of all disorders of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Walton completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Walton was then selected to complete a clinical fellowship in Foot and Ankle surgery at Duke University.
His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and he has presented his findings at regional, national, and international meetings.
Dr. Walton is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, the American Medical Association and Piedmont Orthopedic Society.
