Paige Myers, MD, MPH

Paige L. Myers, MD, MPH, FACS, serves as a faculty member in the Section of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Medicine and is the program director of the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency. Dr. Myers obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Hobart and William Smith College. She then attended Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY for her medical degree. She completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Rochester. She pursued a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, to provide the most advanced reconstructive techniques to her patients.

Clinical Specialization:

Dr. Myers specializes in all forms of breast reconstruction, with a particular focus on microsurgical techniques. She has specialized training in using patients' own tissue from the abdomen, thighs, hips, or gluteal region. Additional clinical areas include lymphedema surgery and complex oncologic reconstruction, working closely with the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center to provide multidisciplinary, patient-centered care. Her research interests involve investigating the social determinants of health and current policies that affect the delivery of care for breast reconstruction and lymphedema patients. She is also passionate about mentorship and sponsorship in surgery, especially for women and underrepresented minorities.
