Michigan Medicine Facilities Maintenance is responsible for the 24/7 safe operation and maintenance of all the hospital sites on the hill and most out-building infrastructure which includes but is not limited to the following systems: medical gases, HVAC, electrical power, process, domestic, and RO water, pneumatic tube, life safety (doors, fire alarm, fire suppression, power), plumbing, building system controls, and interior/exterior architectural finishes.
Our team consists of 170 professional, Skilled Trades and AFSCME staff that live the Michigan Medicine core values through our team purpose statement.
