About
Dr. Carty completed her undergraduate work at Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude, with a degree in Biochemical Sciences. She attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where she earned her MD degree. Dr. Carty stayed in New York for her internal medicine residency at Columbia University Medical Center, and moved to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for her Hematology-Oncology fellowship. She remained on staff at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before moving here to Ann Arbor.
Dr. Carty is the recipient of a K08 Award for her work in T cell biology and ASH Scholar Award for her research on T cell lymphomas.
