Research Overview
His basic science research has focused on cardiac myocyte signal transduction as it relates to bioenergetics and myocardial preservation during cardiac surgery. In addition, Dr. Bolling is interested in experimental models of heart disease and heart failure, and in dietary means to modify disease progression and severity.
