    Dr. Lauren Oshman graduated from Baylor College of Medicine (2003) and completed Family Medicine residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY (2007). She completed the Cook County Faculty Development Fellowship in Chicago, Ill. (2014) and NorthShore University HealthSystem Quality and Patient Safety Fellowship in Chicago, Ill. (2016). Prior to joining the University of Michigan in 2020, she practiced for five years in Concord, New Hampshire, then served as a residency faculty member and vice-chair for quality at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Chicago, Ill for eight years.

    Dr. Oshman enjoys long distance running, mindfulness meditation, and spending time with her family and dog. She speaks conversational Spanish and enjoys travel and spending time in nature.

    Dr. Oshman is interested in implementation of evidence-based practices into primary care settings. Prior publications include evaluation of motivational interviewing curriculum for medical students, implementation of genetic testing into primary care practices, and value-based interventions for primary care.
