About
Scott Regenbogen, MD, MPH is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Colorectal Surgery. He graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in psychology, and received his M.D. degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed General Surgery residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, including three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Health Services Research, and was awarded a Master’s in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. He then completed fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Lahey Clinic, and joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 2011.
Clinical SpecializationDr. Regenbogen's clinical practice includes the evaluation and management of benign and neoplastic diseases of the small bowel, colon, rectum, and anus. He has a particular interest in the use of laparoscopic techniques for the management of colorectal cancer, diverticular disease and inflammatory bowel disease.
