About
Dr. Timothy Lancaster is a congenital heart surgeon within the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Michigan and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Dr. Lancaster earned his medical degree from Temple University, and completed residency and fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis and Congenital Cardiac Surgery at the University of Michigan. He specializes in the care of both pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease, with particular interests in neonatal and pediatric heart surgery, adult congenital heart disease, aortic valve repair, the Ross procedure, and heart transplantation. He has additional interests in clinical and translational research, and surgical education.
Dr. Lancaster is one of the few heart surgeons in Michigan who cares for patients of any age with congenital heart disease. He operates at both C.S.
