I completed medical school at University of California at San Francisco and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at University of Michigan. I completed additional training to be certified as a lactation counselor. I enjoy working with both children and adults. I have a clinical interest in childhood onset chronic disease, mental health, nutrition, breastfeeding, and preventative health. Outside of clinic I enjoy gardening, cooking, and hiking.

In fact, I had some concerns about my [...] history, which were never addressed directly. I would suggest that Dr. Schaffer-White slows down a little bit and, at the end of each section, askes again if I have any questions, and/or ask clarifying questions. The physical part of the exam seemed very rushed. Again slowing down just a little might give me a little more confidence in the exam. The notes from the interview and the exam were very accurate, capturing exactly what I said and what we discussed."
