2. Disaster Medical Relief worldwide – coordinated multiple local and international medical camps as part of Disaster Relief operations including USA, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Philippines, and Ecuador.
3. Education in Human Values for Healthcare Professionals
Dr. Conjeevaram has won numerous local, regional and national awards for education, mentoring, humanism and community service, some of which include “Commendation Medal for Exemplary Performance of Duty” from President Clinton, “Dean’s Award for Community Service, “Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine”, “Distinguished Lifetime Educator Award” by the American Gastroenterological Association, and “American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Community Service Award”.
