    Dr. Shumer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology. He received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Vermont Children’s Hospital at the University of Vermont, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Shumer then completed fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology at Boston Children’s Hospital and concurrently completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.
