About
Lauren M. Perry, MD is an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Perry is trained in general surgery and specializes in treating patients with breast cancer. She practices at the Rogel Cancer Center, Brighton Center for Specialty Care, and East Ann Arbor Health Center.
She earned her medical degree at the Emory University School of Medicine after receiving a merit scholarship. Following her medical education, she completed her general surgery training at the University of California Davis in Sacramento, California. During that time, she received a master's degree in clinical research under an NIH K30 award and was the recipient of a NIH T32 postdoctoral research fellowship in comparative oncology. She then completed her fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
