About
Joan Armstrong earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Mercy College of Detroit, and her master's degree in nursing from Michigan State University. She joined the staff of the University of Michigan in 1988 and has worked in the Breast Care Center since 2001. Ms. Armstrong sees patients in the Breast Medical Oncology Clinic, the Multidisciplinary Breast Care Center Clinic and the Breast Wellness Clinic. Her interests include patient education and symptom management. Ms. Armstrong enjoys golf, volleyball and snowmobiling, in addition to spending time with her husband, new baby and their standard poodle.
