    Dr. Kris Kullgren received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She completed an internship in pediatric psychology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and her fellowship in pediatric psychology at Emory University. Dr. Kullgren joined the faculty at the University of Michigan to direct the inpatient pediatric psychology consultation liaison program. She is particularly interested in helping youth and families cope with chronic illness and physical complaints in order to return to typical functioning. Dr. Kullgren works closely with the inpatient medical staff at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital to help address the psychosocial needs of youth admitted to the hospital.

    Inpatient pediatric psychology consultation liaison, coping with childhood chronic illness or hospitalization, somatic symptom and related disorders (i.e., non-epileptic events, pain), adherence to the medical regimen, adolescents with chronic health issues
