    Research Overview

The overarching goal of my research is to contribute to the improvement of management of hearing disorders. As a clinician-scientist, I have a general interest in researching methods and technologies for improving strategies for managing hearing loss and helping to bring these innovations back to the clinic to improve the outcomes for patients with communication disorders.

Currently, I am focusing my work on improving metrics of binaural function and examining the benefits of auditory devices for performance on tasks of binaural hearing, with particular attention to outcomes for individuals undergoing medical or surgical rehabilitation for single-sided deafness.
