  • About

Dr. Christensen spent ten years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging.

After five years in private practice in southwest Oregon, he returned to training and completed an additional fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His work there emphasized interventional oncology—the minimally invasive treatment and diagnosis of cancer.

He then returned to private practice for several years in Colorado, where he was honored as one of the top Interventional Radiologists in Denver.

In 2020, Dr. Christensen returned to academia, joining the faculty at the University of Michigan Health.

His personal interests center on helping patients and colleagues live better, longer, and stronger lives. He especially values working closely with patients and their families to provide the best possible interventional care.
