    I was born in Delaware, received my undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis before completing medical school, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Michigan. In my free time, I am an avid weightlifter and enjoy grilling and smoking food outside in any weather.
