Diabetes Devices: Omnipod 5
Diabetes Devices: Omnipod 5
Your Omnipod 5 automatically shares data with Glooko every 5 minutes, with about a 1-hour delay before it appears in your account. No cables, no manual uploads. To share your data with Michigan Medicine, you'll complete two connections:
- Connect PodderCentral to Glooko: Setup starts in PodderCentral, not in Glooko. Link your PodderCentral account to Glooko from within the PodderCentral app or website.
- Connect Glooko to our clinic: Once linked, connect your Glooko account to Michigan Medicine using our ProConnect code. Your care team will then see your data automatically.
Note: Our clinic's Glooko ProConnect code: umichmed. You'll need this in step 2 — keep it handy.

Connect via App
Important: This process must be started from PodderCentral — do not start from the Glooko app or website.
Log in to PodderCentral: Go to PodderCentral and sign in using your PodderCentral username and password.
Connect to Glooko: Inside PodderCentral, select the option to connect to Glooko. You'll be redirected to Glooko to either create a new account or sign in to an existing one. Follow the on-screen prompts to link your accounts.
Connect via Clinic
Once your Omnipod 5 is linked to Glooko, complete this final step to share your data with your Michigan Medicine care team.
Open Glooko and select "Set Up Your Clinic Connection": Log in to your Glooko account and look for the option to set up a clinic connection.
Enter the Michigan Medicine code: When prompted, enter the clinic code: umichmed (all lowercase). This connects your Glooko account to your Michigan Medicine care team.
You're done: Your Omnipod 5 data will now be visible to your care team. Data typically appears within 1 hour.
