What is virtual care?

Virtual care is the use of technology that allows you to visit your health care provider without having to come to a clinic or hospital.

About Virtual Care

With University of Michigan Health Virtual Care, you can access the same world-class care you experience in our clinics, now from the comfort and convenience of home. Whether you are in the Keweenaw Peninsula or Kerrytown, you can count on expert, personalized care from U-M Health providers, by connecting with them conveniently using your MyUofMHealth Patient Portal account.

Ready to get started?

E-visits and Video Visits require a MyUofMHealth patient portal account. Sign up for an account here

You can also download the MyUofMHealth mobile app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You must download the app to access a Video Visit from a mobile device.

If you need an internet connection, use the State of Michigan Online Map of Free Wi-Fi Hotspots to find a public Wi-Fi hotspot near you.

Note: Patients must be in the State of Michigan to access Virtual Care offerings due to state law or regulations.
