About
Dr. Lynn Ang is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes Division, Internal Medicine Department at University of Michigan. Dr. Ang is one of the principle attending physicians for the Diabetes Transition Program. Dr. Ang’s clinical and research interests are in the fields of implementing optimal management of inpatient and outpatient hyperglycemia, creating protocols for inpatient hospital guidelines, identifying biomarkers to predict the development or progression of diabetic complications, detecting the earliest stages of complications to prevent progression of diseases, and developing sensitive diagnostic methods/treatment for those complications. Dr. Ang also serves as a Co-Director of Hospital Intensive Insulin Program. Dr. Ang has been actively involving in teaching internal medicine and podiatry residents, endocrinology fellows, and medical students in both ambulatory and inpatient clinical settings. She was a recipient of Goran Sundkvist Young Investigators Award for Clinical Science 2022.
