    A proud alumnus of the University of Michigan’s College of LS&A and Medical School, Dr. Bravender trained in Pediatrics at Duke University, Adolescent Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, received his MPH from Harvard University, and has held faculty appointments at the aforementioned Harvard and Duke. After decades away, he was delighted to return home to Ann Arbor in 2014 to establish the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. He is currently the David S Rosen MD Collegiate Professor of Adolescent Medicine and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry. In addition to his academic appointments, he serves as Associate Chair for Faculty Affairs in the Department of Pediatrics, Division Director of Adolescent Medicine, executive director of the Mott Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program, and co-medical director of the University of Michigan Adolescent Health Initiative.
