About
Dr. Adina Turcu completed her Internal Medicine residency at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University, CT, where she also served a year as Chief Resident. She completed her Endocrinology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, where she was the recipient of the Randall G. Sprague Award for outstanding clinical, investigative, and academic achievement in Endocrinology.
Dr. Turcu pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, prior to joining the UoM faculty team in the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes. Her research work focuses on adrenal disorders, including congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Cushing’s syndrome, primary aldosteronism, and pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma.
Areas of Practice
Adrenal disorders (adrenal nodules, primary aldosteronism, pheochromocytoma, Cushing syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, adrenal insufficiency), pituitary disorders, and neuroendocrine tumors.
