Dr. Crissman, MPH is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan.
She received her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Quebec, Canada before completing medical school and a Masters of Public Health at the University of Michigan. Currently, Dr. Crissman is completing advanced training in Family Planning at the University of Michigan.
In 2018, Dr. Crissman was awarded the Evan Newport HOPE Award for exceptional commitment to patient- and family-centered care. In 2017, she received the Galen's Society Golden Beeper award for excellence in medical student teaching, and a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Mini-Grant to create job-specific training videos to improve the care of transgender patients and visitors at Michigan Medicine.
