Dr. Melinda Davis is a Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. She is a General Cardiologist and a Women’s Heart specialist who sees cardiology patients at the U-M Canton Health Center. With the prevalence of cardiovascular disease among female patients, Dr. Davis is passionate about furthering the care for this population. She is particularly interested in focusing on ways to help women with cardiovascular disease during pregnancy. Dr. Davis enjoys educating her patients about their health and engaging them as active participants. She also loves sharing in decisions with patients, offering education and counsel as they make health care choices. Before coming to the University of Michigan Health System for her fellowship, Dr. Davis completed her residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
