About
Melisa joined the University of Michigan Nurse-Midwifery Service in 2011 after graduating from the University of Michigan Midwifery Program. She has over sixteen years’ experience as a nurse in the birth center as well and comes with a strong belief in women’s ability to birth. Her particular interest is in promoting breastfeeding among all women, but particularly women of color. Her clinic is at East Ann Arbor Health Center.
