About
Stacey Sears, DNP, RN, CPNP-AC, is a dedicated nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Critical Care division. Her clinical interests include the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, ECMO management, PICU quality improvement, and burn management. Stacey’s research focuses on improving pediatric sepsis outcomes, parental stress related to invasive procedures in the PICU, and the use of methylene blue in vasoplegic shock. She actively contributes to hospital and unit initiatives as a member of the Reducing Pediatric Sepsis Committee, the C&W Morbidity & Mortality team, and serves as the PICU Local Improvement Team QI Champion.
Stacey is also committed to academic leadership as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care Specialty Coordinator at Wayne State University College of Nursing, and serves as an Adjunct Leo Lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Nursing.
