Cassandra Trammel, MD, MBA

Dr. Trammel is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St Louis, and her medical degree and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Trammel completed Ob/Gyn residency at Tufts Medical Center and returned to Washington University in St Louis for Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship. During her fellowship, Dr. Trammel’s research and clinical activities focused on the care of pregnant people with substance use disorders; she is an advocate for empathetic and evidence-based treatment of addiction in pregnancy. Dr. Trammel joined the University of Michigan faculty in 2025.
