Laura Rene Meeker, NP

Laura Meeker is a dedicated nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Critical Care division. Her clinical interests include bronchiolitis, ARDS, ECMO, palliative care, nutrition, and APRN role transitions. Laura’s research focuses on delirium; the long-term effects of opiates and benzodiazepines on pediatric brain development; the development of nurse-driven sedation practices; and optimizing nutrition for critically ill children. She is actively involved in hospital and unit initiatives, serving on the Nutrition in Critically Ill Children Clinical Practice Guideline Committee, where she works to improve care and outcomes for her patients.
