About
Dr. Sravanthi Koduri is a dual trained open and endovascular neurosurgeon at the University of Michigan. She grew up in Cupertino, California and attended Drexel University's combined BS/MD program, where she graduated with the Highest Honors and earned her M.D. in 2017. She completed her seven year neurosurgery residency at the University of Michigan, followed by an endovascular fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University with Drs. Rosenwasser, Tjoumakaris and Jabbour.

Research Overview
Dr. Sravanthi Koduri's work focuses primarily on improving care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. She was central to the initiation of and actively leads a clinical trial investigating the benefits of deferoxamine in subarachnoid hemorrhage patients. In addition, she is dedicated to a career in translational research on intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), helping bridge laboratory insights with new treatment approaches that may benefit future patients.
