    Dr. Ting is a clinical instructor in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan and a staff physician at the LTC Charles S. Kettles Veterans' Affairs Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He received his undergraduate degree in history at Williams College. He received his MD from the University of Vermont and subsequently completed internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Health System (Detroit, MI) and fellowship training at the University of Michigan. After completing his clinical training, Dr. Ting joined the lab of Dr. Rachel Zemans as a post-doctoral research fellow studying mechanisms of lung injury and repair.

    Research Overview

    I am currently a post-doctoral research fellow in the lab of Dr. Rachel Zemans. Our work focuses on how the lung repairs itself after injury, and how disruptions in that repair process can lead to the conditions and symptoms our patients in clinic and in the hospital experience.
