    Jeffrey Borgeson, M.D., grew up in Hartland, Michigan, and graduated from Hartland High School in 2001. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 2005 and completed his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2010. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and chief resident year at the University of Illinois–Chicago.

    After training, Dr. Borgeson returned to Michigan and began practicing as a hospitalist at the University of Michigan Health medical center. In 2015, he transitioned to a full-time primary care role at Michigan Medicine’s Brighton Health Center, where he cared for patients for over eight years. In 2023, he joined the core faculty at the McLaren–Flint Internal Medicine Residency Program before rejoining Michigan Medicine in 2025 as a physician with the Victors Care program.

    Dr. Borgeson is board certified in internal medicine and enjoys building long-term relationships with his patients. His professional interests include chronic disease management, preventive care, and resident education.

    He and his wife, Molly, have four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his children’s activities, and staying active outdoors.
