About
Dr. Taylor is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She obtained her MD and MSc at the University of Michigan, where she completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency training followed by a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. In addition to working with both the adult and pediatric inpatient palliative care consult services at Michigan Medicine, she works with the Ann Arbor VA Hospital palliative care consult service, as well as participates in medical student education as a faculty member in the medical school’s M-Home Doctoring Program. She is the quality improvement faculty lead for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program and co-director of the M-Talk serious illness communication training program, which is a multi-departmental educational effort to teach skills in serious illness communication to trainees at all educational levels. Finally, she is the Associate Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
Her clinical and academic interests include perinatal palliative care, interdisciplinary education regarding effective communication, and quality improvement in palliative care.Areas of Practice
