About
Dr. Ehrmann is a physician-scientist whose mission is to deliver excellent clinical care and become a clinical leader in building human + machine collaborative intelligence at the bedside of critically ill patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. Collaborative intelligence is a problem-solving system designed to optimize patient outcomes by effectively integrating novel technologies with the humanness of care delivery and clinical decision-making. He believes that research must provide value to all stakeholders by optimizing processes and outcomes while minimizing costs and wasted effort.
